Join us in Trenton!

On Thursday, May 10, the NJ Senate Judiciary Committee will hold hearings on the Death Penalty Abolition Bill. If you can make it - be in Trenton (if only in spirit) on Thursday to show your support. The New Jersey Death Penalty Abolition bill is scheduled to be heard by the Senate Judiciary Committee this Thursday at 10am in committee room 4 of the State House Annex in Trenton.

Please come and pack the room. It is vitally important that you attend the May 10 hearing to show support for abolition. You are encouraged to be in the hearing room by 9:30am. Be sure to bring identification for access to the statehouse. If you get lost just follow the people with the buttons. NJADP.org has more.

Some people deserve to do die, if you ask me not enough of these scumbags are not getting the death penalty. If you take away the death penalty, any of these scumbags kill one of my family members; I will hunt them down and kill them myself. I guarantee a lot more people take the law in their hand and become judge, jury, prosecutor and executioner. Viva la vigilante, if the death penalty is taken away. At least now they have the court system, take that away and see what happens.

Let's see anonymous, you want people to consider whether or not we should live by the rule of law or not. Being an avowed viguilante well that makes you an extremist whacko for sure. Now, did you know that less than 2 out of every hundred people convicted of murder receive a death sentence. You want to hunt them all down and slaughter them if I read you right. You're still a nutjob. Finally, your use of a double negative means that you'd like to see fewer death sentences handed out. On this we agree but really, you're still a in need of professional counseling...really.

Funny how abolitionists like Tennesee Dude get more worked up about executions than actual murders--nice set of priorities.

Im sure the family of Megan Kanka is oh-so-thrilled with Timmendequas not getting the punishment he so richly deserves.

(Tennessee Dude). Get a life, I believe in self protection and not having the government protect me because, they can not. Taking away the death penalty is another example of it. I have a concealed weapon license and carry it with me, so that when some scumbag tries to rob me, they will get whats comming. I carry in all fifty states, included Tennesse. It's total legal too.

Hey fellow Vetrans, good people of New Jersey that follow the law. Move to Virginia or Texas, we lead the country in getting rid of killers. Texas has much lower taxes than Virginia though.
